Empire: Total War

“It was Rather Effective at Killing Elephants, Horses and Camels as well!”

In bringing  gunpowder to the Total War series for the first time, it was pretty clear that the animators at Creative Assembly were going to have to investigate the effects of this terrifying technological advance and find a solution to recreate its devastation in game. With cannon balls ploughing through ranks of men, sending the poor characters flying, Endorphin was called upon to provide realistic movement, avoiding the type of rag-doll look that would have betrayed the game’s signature simulation style.

“Endorphin is not only effective at killing and injuring our troops, it was rather effective at killing elephants, horses and camels as well . We were very pleased with the results. All in all an excellent piece of software.”
